Best Reusable Swim Diapers

I know it may not feel like it for most of us (endless winter, anyone?) but summer really is just right around the corner.  Of course that means you are going to need a couple of swim diapers for you little ones, because the pool will be calling your name before you know it.  Even if you don't cloth diaper, reusable swim diapers are a great thing to have.  Who wants to deal with a soggy, waterlogged, mushy disposable swim diaper?

Not me!

So let's cover some of the adorable options we have available, because we've got just about everything you need.

If you don't want to mess with a separate swim diaper and swim suit, you will probably love Imse Vimse's 2 Part Swimsuit.  It's an adorable little tankini for the little girls in your life, and you don't have to peel an entire wet swimsuit off to change your baby's diaper.  The swim diaper itself is nice and snug fitting so no "floaters" clear the pool.  It also has side snaps for easy changing and no mess.  These swimsuits give a good amount of sun coverage, are affordable, and are super cute.  It's an all-in-one option that makes swim time easy and hassle-free.

For the little men out there, i Play's Ultimate Swim Diaper Board Shorts are a slam dunk.  Your little guy will look stylish and adorable, and you have a cute suit with a built in swim diaper.  They feature sun protection and a layer of material in the diaper that will help wick moisture away from your baby's skin.  Pair them with a Planet Wise My Swim Baby UV Shirt, and you've got amazing sun protection, and a little guy that looks like a pint-sized surfer.  Really, it doesn't get much better than that.

If you've already got a swimsuit that you love and all you need is a swim diaper, check out our Bambino Mio Swim Diaper.  Crazy cute, and extra trim, these diapers will fit under any swimsuit.  These pull-up swim diapers have soft and elasticized leg openings and a draw-string waist so you don't need to worry about messes.  They are made to trap any solids, but let liquids flow out.  They are also cute enough to use as a standalone swim bottom if you ever forget your baby's suit.  They're also trim enough to store on in your diaper bag for those impromptu pool parties.

We have lots and lots of fantastic options.  This post could be pages long with all of the great swim suits and swim diapers that we offer at Thanks Mama, but I'm pretty sure you don't have all day to read it.  So go check out our Swim Diaper page, I know we will have something that fits your needs, and make you want to take your little sweeties to the pool all of the time.  I know I'm itching for some summer fun.  Maybe if we all start swim-diaper shopping it will bring on the sun.

  1. Thanks Anastasia...!!! Your article has helped me in buying these diapers for my 8 month old baby since he likes to play with water all the time. Since I use Lil Helper cloth diapers there hasn't been a great issue but your post has been very helpful in preferring the swimsuit diapers during important times.

  2. I really like the Imse Vimse's 2 Part Swimsuit combo. The fact it safely covers the entire babies body, mean it is great for days out at the beach.
