Bambino Mio Trainers and Diapers

Hello, Thanks Mama readers!  Today we're going to pick up where we left off last week and highlight a few more of the great products we offer from Bambino Mio.  I'm sure that you'll want to check out this great (new to you) UK brand of cloth diapers and accessories when you've finished reading.  They have everything!

We have to start by talking about Bambino Mio's All in One cloth diaper, the Bambino Mio Miosolo.  This fantastic AIO is a one-sized diaper, and it's designed to fit your baby from birth to potty training.  It has a snap-down rise that will help you get a great fit no matter your baby's size, and crossover tabs with velcro closures.  One feature I think you are going to love is that the velcro matches the color of the diaper, giving it a sleek look and letting the beautiful colors show to their full effect.  Speaking of colors, Bambino Mio Miosolo All in One cloth diapers come in six gorgeous and different colors, perfect for the modern baby (and mama).

The Miosolo has an interesting design.  It's almost like an AIO/Pocket hybrid in that there is a stay dry micro-fleece inner with a pocket, but the soaker is partially sewn in.  This means shorter drying time, and the ability to add absorbency if needed.  The Miosolo also features pull-out tabs on the back of the soaker so that you can easily pull it out of the pocket without getting your hands dirty.  It's an innovative diaper that is sure to find a prominent place in your stash.

For days at the pool try Bambino Mio Swim Diapers.  Available in a whole bunch of adorable prints, these lightweight and easy to use swim diapers will save you money, keep messes out of the pool, and keep your baby looking cute.  These swim diapers have a pull-up design for easy on and off, a water proof barrier, and a soft cotton terry inner that will keep solids in while letting liquids out.  With four sizes available, these diapers will provide your baby with a trim swimming solution.

When your toddler is ready to potty train, Bambino Mio has you covered with their Training Pants.  These pull-up training pants are a great option for teaching your kids to go to the bathroom by themselves as they will be able to get them on and off by themselves, as well as feel wetness when they have an accident.  They're made of soft and stretchy cotton and polyester blend on the outside, a waterproof layer, and absorbent core inside.  Your child will love that these training pants look like real big kid underwear, and you will love not having puddles all over the floor!

Bambino Mio has a ton of other great products available at Thanks Mama, but we've whet your appetite by featuring a few of their must-see cloth diaper and re-usable training pant options.  To check out all of the other great Bambino Mio products, head on over here and look around.  This UK brand is here to stay!

Bambino Mio Cloth Diaper Care Products

Have you heard of Bambino Mio yet?  Chances are you've heard the name in passing but don't know much about this UK brand of cloth diapers and accessories, but today we are going to change all of that!  Thanks Mama is happy to be able to offer this great brand to all of you cloth diaper lovers out there.  So first let's find out a little bit about this brand, and then we're going to cover two great laundry options offered by Bambino Mio.

Founded in 1997 by a husband and wife team, Bambino Mio started as a mail-order business.  Now in 2013 Bambino Mio is sold in stores all over, and has earned over 50 consumer awards.  Bambino Mio makes diapers, swim diapers, trainers, potty training supplies, and laundry accessories.  Long story short, Bambino Mio offers  basically everything you need to cloth diaper your baby!  So let's learn about their laundry solutions offered here at Thanks Mama.

Bambino Mio Miocare is a cloth diaper safe laundry detergent that is made from plant and mineral based ingredients, so it's natural and a green choice.  It is also safe and effective if you wash your diapers at low temperatures.  Bambino Mio Miocare is free of enzymes, optical brighteners, and dyes.  It has a nice natural lavender scent and is safe for sensitive baby skin, which is important when you are taking care of a tiny new baby.  Miocare is great to use on your baby's diapers as well as clothes and towels, and it will leave all of your laundry clean and fresh.  One 28 oz box of Miocare will wash up to 10 loads of cloth diapers or laundry.

Bambino Mio Miofresh is a laundry additive that will sanitize cloth diapers and keep them smelling clean and fresh.  If you have been battling stink issues, this might be just what you have been looking for.  Miofresh is designed to kill germs without using hot or warm water.  Just add one scoop to your normal detergent and wash as usual.  When your diaper laundry is all done, you will have clean and germ-free diapers for your baby.  Miofresh, like Miocare is free of enzymes & optical brighteners, and it contains no chlorine bleach or perfumes.  Each container of Miofresh will contain enough for about 50 loads of laundry.

If your cloth diaper laundry routine isn't cutting it, try Bambino Mio.  Their safe, effective detergent and sanitizer may be just what your diapers need.

UPPAbaby Strollers and Accessories

When you're shopping for baby gear, which stroller to buy is one of the biggest decisions you will make.  They're a big investment, and baby may spend a lot of time in it over the course of several years,   so it can feel like an overwhelming decision.  There are so many brands and styles to choose from, but how do you pick the stroller that is right for your baby, and stylish enough that you'll want to push it around daily?

UPPAbaby is a fabulous choice, with strollers that fit a lot of your daily needs while also keeping you super stylish.  This American company has you covered from birth to toddlerhood with safe and comfortable strollers that are easy to use and highly functional.  Thanks Mama has four different UPPAbaby stroller models to choose from as well as great accessories that will let you personalize your stroller to fit your specific needs.

The UPPAbaby Vista is a high end stroller that is full sized and offers great features that make it extremely functional.  Available in 7 colors, the Vista lets your baby face in or out and it has 5 different reclining positions.  The UPPAbaby Vista can be used from newborn to 50 lbs.  For a newborn you simply use the included bassinet, which can be removed if your baby falls asleep in the stroller.  The toddler seat can be used from 3 months up to when your child reaches 50 lbs.

When your family grows, the great thing about the Vista is that you can add a "Rumble Seat" and turn your UPPAbaby stroller into a double without having to go through the trouble of buying a new stroller!  You can't use the Rumble seat while you have the bassinet attached, but you can hook it on with an infant car seat.  The Rumble seat will fit a baby from 6 months all the way up to 35 lbs.

Need a spot for a tired toddler or young child but don't want to add a Rumble seat?  Simply attach the optional Piggyback Ride-Along Board.  Your child can stand on the board as you push your baby in the seat.  It's a great option for smaller children that want to walk, but tire a little too easily.

The UPPAbaby Cruz stroller is a more compact stroller than the Vista, although it boasts many of the same great features.  The UPPAbaby Cruz doesn't come with a bassinet like the Vista does, but it can be purchased separately.  While the Cruz is a bit more narrow (which makes it great for tight spaces, shopping, and city living), the Rumble seat is not compatible with the Cruz.  The Piggyback Ride-Along Board does fit the Cruz, however, so it is still a very versatile Stroller.  The Cruz is available in 5 great colors.

The UPPAbaby G-Luxe stroller is a colorful, stylish, and extremely functional travel stroller.  Available in 4 bright, beautiful colors, the UPPAbaby G-Luxe is an 11 lb portable stroller with a lot of the perks of a full-sized model.  You can use this stroller with children ranging from 3 months to 55 lbs, and it has three recline positions, which is a wonderful thing when you are out and about with a tired child but can't take a full sized stroller with you.  The G-Luxe stroller stands when folded, has tall handles (42 inches means no stooping and back-aches), and a canopy with an extendable sun-shade.  You can also feel good knowing that your baby will have a nice smooth ride because the UPPAbaby G-Luxe has shock absorbers and high performing wheels.

Last, but  not least, the UPPAbaby G-LiTE stroller is an umbrella stroller that comes in three bold colors.  This stylish umbrella stroller is designed for babies aged 6 months up to 55 lbs.  This is a fantastic stroller with a high back, high weight limit, and is extremely light at under 9 lbs.  Like the G-Luxe, the UPPAbaby G-LiTE has tall 42 inch handles, and stands upright when folded.  It also has a shock-absorbing suspension system, but the smaller wheels make it best for smooth surfaces.

There are so many great options from UPPAbaby, and you are bound to find something that fits your needs.  With beautiful and modern colors, lots of fantastic accessories like the Rumble Seat and Piggyback Ride-Along,  UPPAbaby strollers will get your family stylishly through the childhood years.  Make sure you check out all of the fabulous accessories available from Thanks Mama to deck out your UPPAbaby Strollers in style.

Cloth Diaper Friendly Diaper Rash Creams and Ointments

A lot of parents decide to cloth diaper in order to keep chemicals off of their baby's skin, and thankfully that usually translates to less rashes for your little one.  Even if they stay rash free most of the time, however, we all know that it's best to be prepared for that occasional diaper rash.  When you're cloth diapering there are things you should and shouldn't use on baby's bum, and sometimes it can be a little confusing as to what is cloth diaper safe and what isn't.  So we're going to make this a lot easier for you!  The Do's and Don'ts of cloth diaper safe rash cream if you will.

DON'T use zinc oxide based rash creams such as Desitin.  These rash creams will cause your diapers to repel (which can cause leaks!  Eek!) because it will coat the fabric, get in between the fibers, and it really won't wash off without some significant effort on your part.  It can't hurt to make sure that anyone watching your baby knows that this is a no-no.  I forgot to mention it to my friend before she watched my daughter one day and found out when I picked her up that it was now all over one of my favorite diapers.  Oops!

DO use a liner if you must use a zinc oxide based rash cream.  You can use a disposable liner or a piece of microfleece.  As long as you have a barrier between the rash cream and your baby's diaper, you should be ok.

DON'T use petroleum based creams such as Vaseline.  That will be a night-mare to get out of your diapers and will cause serious repelling issues.

DO use a natural rash cream that is made up in part of natural oils that wash out easily at low temperatures.  Not sure which kinds of rash creams are safe to use?  We will help you out with that too!

CJ's BUTTer is a beloved diaper rash cream that many moms swear by.  They have a plethora of delicious scents to choose from, and several options when it comes to the type of rash cream.  CJ's BUTTer: Spritz o' BUTTer is a wonderful option for your diaper bag.  This diaper rash buster is in liquid form in a small spray-bottle.  Just spray some on your baby's bum and you're ready to go!  It's great for sensitive skin, and can even be used as a moisturizer.  You can also get CJ's in stick form, in a squeeze-bottle, and in a tub.  There are a lot of options, and you're sure to find one that will fit your needs.  The only problem you may run into is how to decide which yummy scent to choose!

Dimpleskins Naturals Bum Bum Balm is another natural, cloth diaper safe cream that will sooth rash-riddled bums.  This cream is made up of a mixture of beeswax (which creates a moisture-barrier on your baby's skin), calendula (which helps in the healing process), and several other natural oils.  It's a soothing option for your baby's most sensitive parts.

Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion Spray is another super convenient option to treat rashes.  It's made up of all natural ingredients such as witch hazel (witch hazel is an astringent that helps to decrease any inflammation and irritation) and tea tree oil (which is an oil that has anti-fungal and anti-viral properties).

The Homestead Company Diaper Rash Oil is also in spray form.  It is meant to treat mild to severe rashes and has some great soothing ingredients in it.  Aloe vera and tea tree oils are two of the oils in this rash oil that will help heal your baby's skin while keeping your cloth diaper free from buildup.  The spray bottle application also makes it a great option for on-the-go diapering as well as day-cares or baby sitters!

Thirsties makes two different diaper rash creams and sprays.  Thirsties Booty Love and Thirsties Booty Luster are both great natural options for treating and preventing diaper rashes.  Booty Love is an ointment that will help heal your baby's rash.  It can also be used to help heal cuts, burns, and irritated skin!  Booty Luster is a spray aimed at preventing diaper rash.  Spray on your baby's clean booty after each diaper change and help keep rashes away.  Booty Luster isn't really meant to treat diaper rash, just prevent it.

There are so many more cloth diaper safe rash options available at Thanks Mama, make sure you take a look.  There is something for every need and price range.  Make sure you protect your baby and your diapers and choose a cloth-safe diaper rash cream.  Your baby's bum will thank you!

Sharing is Caring!
