Brio Wooden Toys {Gift Idea}

The Holidays are upon us!  If you are like me, you probably aren't completely done with your shopping. Maybe you're looking for classic, simple, and high quality toys to give your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews... heck any cute little kid on your list.  Last year I learned my lesson.  I bought my daughter a bunch of plastic toys with little pieces and thought that she would have a blast and learn so much!  (Can you tell she is my first child?)  Well, fast forward all of a week, and we couldn't find most of those little plastic pieces. Scattered in the wind, my daughter's Christmas presents were a total bust.

This year I have made the decision to buy only quality, well-designed toys that are simple, don't have a million pieces, and will be toys that will inspire my daughter's imagination for years to come.  Hopefully you can learn from my mistakes last Christmas, and put some simple wooden toys on your shopping list.  One suggestion I will make is that you check out Brio Toys. These toys are made with such great care, and they are made to last.  They will never go out of style, they will never look dated, and they will never lose their magic.

From their elaborate and amazingly detailed Deluxe Railway Set, to their sleek and retro looking Dachsund Pull Toy, Brio toys will be a favorite with both you and your little ones.  Made with high quality wood and painted in bright primary colors, Brio's toys are great for both girls and boys.  Their simple designs allow your child to use their imagination.  They won't be distracted by little pieces, sparkly paint designs, and cheap craft-manship.

Brio's train sets are amazing. Any little one would be thrilled to wake up one morning to one of these beautiful toys.  The Brio Metro Railway set, like the Deluxe Railway Set, lights up and makes train noises when your little one pushes the cars along the tracks.  The cars have doors that open, and little figures that can board the train.  With tunnels, bridges, and railway stations, these sets are beautiful.  You can also buy additional train cars and tracks to continue to add to your set.  It really is very customizable, and you can build it up as elaborately as you'd like.

If you're looking for some toys that are a little more appropriate for little ones, the Stacking Clown has eight colorful rings that are brightly colored and will help your baby learn some basic sorting and stacking skills. The Pull Along Bumblebee is adorable, and will have your little one giggling as it's wings whirl around when it's pulled.  Great for little ones who've just learned how to walk, this pull along toy will encourage them to makes strides all over the house while they pull their sweet little bumblebee.

There are so many adorable toys available from Brio, it would take forever to tell you about them all, but to see the full list of what is available just take a look at all the Brio wooden toys.  So this holiday season, when you're out looking for something that will stand the test of time and will capture your child's imagination, this might be just what you are looking for.

Happy Holidays, and happy shopping!
