Make Your Cloth Diapers Last Longer with One Size Fits All

So you have decided to cloth diaper and you are thinking of going with one size cloth diapers?  One size cloth diapers are growing in popularity.  Many parents are deciding to forgo multiple size cloth diapers and get all their baby’s cloth diapers at once.  One size cloth diapers are not all made the same.  Even if you decide to go with one size cloth diapers you will have to determine which one will meet your family’s needs the best.

Most one size fits all cloth diapers start fitting around 7 or 8 lbs. and usually fit until your little one is around 35 lbs.  So unless you have a smaller baby or a larger toddler one size cloth diapers can take you all the way from birth to potty training.  Many parents find this a more economical choice especially if they are cloth diapering only one child or the youngest child.  One size fits all cloth diapers don’t all work the same way.  Some brands like bumGenius adjust sizing by snaps on the front of the cloth diaper.  For diapers like MotherEase One Size Fitted Cloth Diapers sizing is adjusted by folding down the top of the diaper before snapping it on.  If you are fond of the button-style size adjustments in children’s clothing then you may prefer Fuzzi Bunz One Size Elite Pocket Diapers.  Button adjustments at the legs and waist help you get the right fit for your baby.

If you have been considering cloth diapers you have probably noticed that there are many different types of cloth diapers.  You have all in one cloth diapers, pocket diapers, fitted diapers, cloth diaper covers, and more.  There is the same variety found in one size fits all cloth diapers.  You will find one size all in one cloth diapers like the bumGenius Elemental Organic One Size Cloth Diaper and the Bumkins All-in-One One Size Diaper.  Fitted diapers are also available in one size options like the MotherEase One Size Fitted Cloth Diaper.  Pocket cloth diapers are probably one of the most common one size fits all cloth diapers.  Popular brands are Fuzzi Bunz, bumGenius, Bumkins, KaWaii Baby, and Happy Heinys.  It doesn’t end there.  There are one size cloth diaper covers that you can use with one size fitted cloth diapers.  There are also one size contours like the Imse Vimse Organic TerryContour Diapers.  Let’s say you wanted to have the adjustability of a pocket diaper, but also desire organic fibers and wish to use wool covers for an all-natural diaper stash.  There are a couple one size diapers that will fit the bill there too.  The Babykicks OrganicFitted Cloth Diaper and the EcoPosh Recycled Organic One Size Fitted PocketDiaper have natural fibers and pockets for you to add any needed absorbency.

One size fits all cloth diapers will typically last for a baby’s cloth diapering years.  Depending on how often you wash them they can continue to be used for future children as well.  Many parents also find that one size cloth diapers are especially useful when you have a couple children in cloth diapers at the same time.  They can use the same cloth diapers at different size settings.  All in ones and pocket cloth diapers are typically the most easy to use.  Fitted cloth diapers with cloth diaper covers usually provide more natural fiber choices.  There are a plethora of options out there.  Decide what is most important to you and choose the one size cloth diaper that works best for your family.
