BumGenius Elemental Organic One-Size Cloth Diaper Review

I've been cloth diapering for three years and have never tried a BumGenius diaper until now, can you believe it?  We've tried about 30 different brands, but not the most popular one! I was pretty excited to try the BumGenius Elemental Organic One-Size Cloth Diaper

The first thing that stood out to me is just how well made it is. It's one solid diaper, no wonder it is $24.95 a piece. The quality is outstanding and it certainly doesn't look like it will wear out anytime soon. This is great because I don't think we're done having kids! I really appreciate the way it is constructed, there is nothing to stuff - it's an AIO diaper with quick drying time because the interior layers come apart. There is nothing for me to touch when I put it in the wash - I love that! I find myself reaching for it more and more just because it is so easy. Speaking of washing, it doesn't stain either, everything comes off surprisingly well - which I didn't expect from an organic cotton diaper

Our infant is our first son, I didn't anticipate just how much boys pee. This diaper really stands up to his heavy wetting, more so than most other cloth diapers we tried on him (and that's over 20 different brands!). It lasts about 3-4 hours, though I usually change it every 2 since it's not a stay-dry diaper. It's a diaper I would use for night time if my other three preferred night time diapers were soiled.

I think the fit is great for a one-size with snaps. Though a little large on a newborn, it's snug on him now that he is two months old. No gaps at the legs, no leaks, and snug on the waist.
